Warranty Claim

At Kayak Distribution (Riot Kayaks, Boreal Design, Cobra Kayaks, Azul Kayaks, Riot SUP’s and Beluga Outdoor Gear) we stand behind our products with a 5 year limited warranty in North America.  If there is a problem with your kayak our goal is to solve the issue quickly and efficiently, so you can get back on the water and enjoy the rest of the season. 

Please keep in mind that only manufacturing defects are covered, normal wear and tear are not.  We understand that whitewater and surf sea kayaking sometimes involve direct contact with rocks, but unless proven that the material is defective, hull failures resulting from hard impacts and abrasions are not covered. 

This warranty claim form only applies in the United States and Canada. In all other countries, the appointed distributor is solely responsible to administer the warranty according to governing by-laws and corporate policies.

Step 1: Please read our Warranty Agreement first.

Step 2: If after reading you still would like to make a claim, please contact your local dealer for service.

Step 3: If that is not possible, then please fill out and submit the form below. 

Important Things To Note:

  • The more information the better. We need to gather as much information to help us process the claim.  Missing information will result in delays in us processing your form and claim.
  • Shipping costs are not covered under warranty and are to be paid in full by customer before a part/boat/board is shipped from our distribution centre.

  • Images: Please try to send us the best possible images with good lighting and focus of the defect or item broken, in both close up views and different angles if possible.  Please also include images of the full top and bottom of the boat or board so we can assess the problem properly.
